Course Descriptions:

Participants in this training will learn how to implement and configure Service Management Automation X (SMAX) suite deployed in a container on public / private cloud or on premise. This course is a mixture of lectures and lab exercises. The lab exercises will give hands on experience with SMA stack. Students will execute all lab exercises from a pre-installed latest version of SMAX (version 2020.08).

Course Targeted Audience:

System administrators and Service Management consultants responsible for installation, configuration and administration of SMAX suite deployed in a container on public / private cloud or on premise.

Course Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this course, you should be able to:

• Describe the key features of Service Management Automation X suite
• Describe the architecture of CDF and Service Management Automation X suite
• Best practices of implementing SMAX
• Create New application using SMAX Studio
• Configure BO on a pre-installed SMAX, Configure multi tenancy
• Configure various complex use cases by writing advanced business rules
• Integrate SMAX suite with any 3rd party software which supports REST API transactions
• Integrate SMAX with connect it for data exchange with SM for e.g. using Evolution scripts
• Integrate with Operations Orchestration, UCMDB, Email Integration

Course Pre-Requisites / Recommended Skills:

• This course is designed for users who are familiar with IT Service Management (ITSM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) concepts. Someone who has already installed SMAX or worked on a SaaS / Pre-installed SMAX and want to learn how to do advanced configurations, administration and integration with the new platform

2. Student who completes full training sessions will receive training credit.
