Course Description

This five-day, advanced, instructor-led course is designed for technically experienced Operations Bridge Manager (Formerly known as Operations Manager i) 10.x administrators and support personnel. It covers advanced concepts, principles, methodologies, and hands-on configuration of the OBM software and solutions. In addition, this training provides an opportunity for OBM administrators to learn how to extend the value of their current implementation using custom event handling and integration with other applications.

This course includes hands-on labs that use the ITOM Container Deployment Foundation (CDF) platform and version 2019.08 of the OBM software.

  • Customize the way health information is processed and displayed in OBM
  • Create OBM custom actions
  • Create an event processing customization based on an existing script
  • Use advance policy management and Management templates
  • Create and deploy Policy templates for Data collection using:
  1. Measurement Threshold Policy Template
  2. REST Web Service Policy Template
  3. Database Policy Template
  4. Structured Log File Policy Template
  • Configure Metric Streaming on nodes using Intelligent Data Lake (Collect Once – Store Once) data source.
  • Troubleshoot issues with OBM
